Fake Apple store?

Hey all.

So I was just checking the news and I was reading about a fake Apple store in Chine getting shutdown for not having a busienss licence and that they were using the Apple trademark without their permission. It doesn't supprise me that this has happned in China where most counterfeit market.
I feel sorry for the people who were sucked in to buying theis fake products. Do you think that the owner of this "Apple Store" should have to pay back the money that he has made from selling the fake prodcuts?

The investigation into the fake stores was launched after an American blogger posted photos of a near-flawless copy of an Apple outlet showing employees wearing the company's trademark blue T-shirts

  1. I did a post on this myself. I found it really hilarious, and it's created a huge sh*tstorm over there. Heh.

  2. The thing that made me laugh about this was the fact it was perfect up until the most important detail. Instead of displaying the logo outside, they just had a sign saying apple store.
Also i believe they had legit products, but no-one seems to know where they got them from.
Personally i feel bad for the employees because they genuinely thought they were working for a real outlet. Madness

  5. China is full of stores like this, I remember reading somewhere (Probably in one blog XD) that theres malls which are just full of fake stores. If the product is decent and cheaper I could well be tempted!

  7. They probably just moved the store after being caught. China has not learned to respect trademarks yet, but they will if they want continued growth.
